Sandee Millett

My love of antiques began on my Grandparent's Kansas farm. Always drawn to family history and the objects that Grandpa made out of "stuff" tucked away in the barn or one of the other out buildings. There wasn't anything that dear man could not create. Luckily, my husband shares that talent.

Our home is filled with heirlooms from both my grandparents and my husband's. We relish being the caretakers of the past and share them with enthusiasm.

For several years I rented a booth in several malls. When I was in the mall that is now Greenwood Mercantile, the owners decided to retire. Even though I was working full time at Hallmark Cards, I knew that I could run the mall as long as I had a great store manager. Linda Holloway has been with me since that very first day. I am so lucky to have her. That was 15 years ago. About two years later, I decided to take early retirement. My jobs involved marketing which has helped me run the business.

I opened a shop in Lexington, MO called Missouri River Antique Company. After 5 years, I sold my part to my partner and bought the house that now holds Millett & CO. That was the best choice.
